Josh Barker, a senior at Richwood High School, received one of three $10,000 scholarships in photography to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Barker won the scholarship by submitting a portfolio of his original photos and an essay to a panel of judges at the institute. Nearly 200 students applied for the scholarship.

He is a student of Rocco Milanese, art teacher at Richwood High. In addition, Barker serves as the photographer for the yearbook and student newspaper.
